The bracket that the ignitor chip comes con has 2 other pieces on it. seen in this pic http://i22.ebayimg.com/03/i/03/c9/bc/e6_1_b.JPG While I was removing stuff from my engine bay this weekend to paint it I decided I would be curious and figure out what the other two pieces on the bracket are. I have them on there still ust capped the vacume lines on the one and such.

It's just another wastegate control solenoid. The MAFS voltage tells the ecu how much air is flowing across it, you don't need the wastegate control solenoid. Air flow is a better measurement than psi, which would be inferred air flow. Most people I know don't run this, they just cap it off like you did.

do I need to plug it into the engine harness though? ALso what is the thing below the ignitor chip?
