Power windows question

I was driving in my car the other day and I have 91 Civic LX power windows and lock. I had the Lock on the windows so no one could roll the windows down but my friend was able to roll his window down with the lock being on. Anyone know how?

could be a number of things, most likely a loose connection........take the door panel off and follow the leads to that particular window control.
