Warning about jacking up Sebrings!!

I have a 98 sebering. Battery was bad so instead of spending 100 dollars to get it removed and replaced...we just bought the battery and took it apart ourselves. Took the jack out to get to the tire wrench to get the plastic caps off and took notice of the instructions to jack the car up. Followed them exactly and it ended up bending a portion of the underside (the part where the water drains are for the Rockers...)
