2000 Silhouette Driver Window: Up not Down

My driver side window will go down but not up.
The same switch operates the passenger window perfectly.
Is it the switch?
Is it the motor?
If it is the motor, anyone have a clue how to replace it?
I have removed the door trim and can see the motor, but no clear direction on how to replace it. My Haynes manual was no help.

same problem....had voltage at the window motor plug...took it to dealer...they said it was the master window switch(driver's door window switches)....wasn't too expensive
