Spoiler Suggestions

well i've been thinking of ne cheaper ways to get the stealth to look real nice other then the 99 conversion. I ran across this body kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36475&item=7967271946&rd=1

All i would need then would be a spoiler ne other suggestions other then the 99 vr4 wing. i like the loko of the conversions but they are just to expensive. around 800$ for the bumper and wing. That body kit as only 390$ add a spoiler maybe 500 total which would be the cost of the 99 wing on 3sx. So ne way back to the topic what else would you reccomend for a wing? I've also pegged down a carbon hood for around 200.

I say try to get a 2nd gen bumper since they look better than the stealth ones, try for a 97-98 bumper off somone on 3SI who is going 99. I like the look of the 97-99 SL wing so I say get that, will look real sharp.

I do like that front bumper. The 97/98 spoiler isn't that the Hoop? Is there ne way to get on 3SI with a hotmail account? Ne how that would save me alot of money since i'm trying to ballance the boost controller,intake,downpip and looks. Still debating between a MBC and EBC.

Well as far as 3si, pm or email alan (he started the stickied thread about the national gathering) He is an admin over at 3si.

Boost controller...I wanted an ebc as well, but due to money I went with the mbc and havn't had any problems due to it.

and yes the spoiler is the hoop one. I don't know if I would trust the quality of a $300 body kit. Also there are companies (forget who) that makes a copy of the 99 wing out of cf or fiberglass or something and sell it cheaper than the $500 real one.

Make sure it's not the Import precision hood, I had fitment issues. Also crappy work on the latch and underside of the hood. I got it to fit after 8 hours of messing around. That's with hoodpins and stuff.

The bolt holes where the hinges are were spaced to close and too far forwards. I'm looking for a way to move my fenders in to eliminate the gap.

As far as I know they said they would provide me with a hood from a new mold. But after emailing them a few times I got no response. Supposedly they have a new mold for the hood and the issues should be fixed.

I know 3sx performance has there Fiberglass one but its the one that is like 500. I love that wing and if i had my choice that would be the one. I still dont' know what to do first engine mods or look mods. The stealth that i'm heavily talking to the owner of is a 94 RT/TT black. So it looks good but not as great as the 3kgt so i think i'll go engine first then body later. Also Igovert500 are the MBC easy to set? i mean if i can set and forget i'll be more then happy with one.

There is the hood, also would nebody know a website that has weight number for certain parts on the car. I know 3sx said changing the seat could save u like 50lbs or somthing. Dont' worry not going to strip the interior its just to nice but i do want to save weight were i can.

Um, there are a few random threads with approx weights, but I don't think there is a site that lists them.

The mbc is pretty easy to set, just make sure you have a boost gauge and work your way up very gradually. Once you get it where you want, just leave it. I know some have even used locktite or some sort of sealant to make sure the boost knob doesn't loosen over time. But obviously that prevents you from ever turning it up or down again...not a good idea IMO. If you are looking for an MBC, someone is selling them for $18 I think on 3si. If you want I can try and look for his info to get you later.
