I was wondering if anyone has noticed the sizes of tires. I have that brand of Firestone that was on the Exploders that were blowing out. They are about shot. My spare is a Goodyear RTS, when I out the Firestone beside the Goodyear the RTS is much taller. Both tires are 235/75/R15. When I asked a buddy that sell tires he couldnt figure it out either. And what I mean by taller is the side wall is taller in the RTS. I know that the tred depth is thicker on the RTS, but how can the tire be bigger that the Firestones but have the same tire size???? Thanks

are we talken an inch or a foot? i mean its all to do with brand, the same way a shoe company's size 10 might fit you but another company you take a 12 or an 8, that is why its said to have 4 of the same tires on your vehical

This is the true reason why you buy a complete set of 4 exact tires when you change your tires.
Never mix and match or it will destroy your drivetrain.
