Dangerous and Illegal?

Isn't street racing illegal. And if not, it sure looks like your endangering yourselves and others. :nono: Why do you risk your life?

Dude, you should try it for once. Like that one movie said "For those 10 seconds or less, I'm Free" The only purpose I go watch it is becuase its better than paying to watch it at tracks and some other more reasons, but still, this is a POINTLESS thread, CLOSE IT!!

Obviously street racing is very illegal, why do people do it
1- Bragging rights
2- Pride
3- Geeting a feel for the cars potential
4- The list keeps going on and on

I personally do not race in the streets were it could kill someone, I race on the freeway at night when it is deserted 1 or 2 in the morning

Yeah, alot of street races on here (hopefully) dont street race in a crowded 2 lane street, alot of people are safer about racing than you would guess.

have you ever gone passed 80 mph with some one trying to keep up with you or viceversa? or even better going high speed and having some one pacing next to you and all you hear is the whining of the motor and your adrenaline pumping? its rather fun (aka street racing)

Gee...isn't doing drugs illegal?
Isn't speeding 5mph over the limit illegal?
Isn't dubbing a video from blockbuster illegal?
Isn't recording the superbowl without the NFL's prior consent illegal?

Isn't skydiving dangerous?
Isn't swimming with sharks dangerous?
Isn't a gun dangerous?
Isn't boxing dangerous?

What is your point? People do what they want to do, and I highly doubt anyone will change their opinions despite your concern...so welcome to AF, but please don't start pointless threads like this.

Honest officer, I wasn't racing. I was just trying to keep a safe distance between me and the car behind!!!!!!
