look around on ebay or somthin, if you feel like doin the swap get the mpfi intake and a pm6 ecu

i think your car is "slower than shit" becuase its a 70hp HF.

Mang the Hf is all about gas milage... 62 hp, long ass gears, and congrats on getting the lightest year too.

i found this ecu on ebay will it work?
numbers on mine - 37820 pm8 L020 661 100107
numbers on ebay one - 37820-PM8-A030 660-123174

if your car is a manual then get a ecu for a manual, if its auto, the get an auto ecu. Not sure how to tell the difference in the numbers

both ecu's are for manuels but i heard that all the numbers must be exactly matching?

i havn't heard that but i guess it's possible but i doubt it

yes, if they are both PM8 ecus then they will work
i'd suggest using an Si intake which is bigger and running an Si Ecu (PM6)

Would that work? my car is only an 8 valve and the SI is a 16 so i could change the intake manifold and the ecu?

i would'nt know but yes change the ecu, intake manifold, and distributor, for the mpfi swap. add a resistor from a si to that.

his cars already got mpfi tho. so he shouldnt need the resistor box or dizzy.

so what all would i need to change to the SI ecu?

humm, man i know you would have to have all the wiring probably since you have no ecu. cause if you don't have an ecu then you are going to have to run wires thru the firewall from the engine to the ecu. If your lucky and things happen to plug up then i am guessing that you would have to get a complete engine harness cause there are lots of sensors on the throttle body that you prob, dont have, dizzy, ecu of course, injector resistor box, intake, injectors, and thats if your lucky and you already have a harness running thru your firewall for some reason even though there is no ecu. So it would probably be a lot of wiring to pull that off but anything can be done

all the wiring is there and i have an ecu but a bad one (dosnet work)

So i have not gotten a direct awnser can i put a SI intake manifold and the ecu on my car?

should be able to, i am not 100% though. Maybe go get gaskets for both your setup and the new intake and compare the cutouts and see if everything is close to the same, that no holes are blocked w/ the new gasket. that's just to see if it can possibly fit, as far as bolting it up?????

oh ok so he just wanted an upgrade. 4 holes split in to 2 up top, and 3 separate hole on the bottom.( for a 92 intake manifold)...

i not sure how it would work with that motor though, if everything is the same or not. 1.3ltr? it could all be different but i am not sure.
