93 probe gt won't start just turns over

its not getting any spark. i had the tranny done and now it won't start... it just turns over and over. i have replace plugs wires cap and rotor... distributor sensors... if theres something i am missing let me know. it is for sure getting fuel though. i just can't figure it out and i am getting really sick of driving my boyfriend to work!!!!

Did you check the fuses? There is a fuse panel by the battery that has a few fuses in it that could cause a no spark and also at least one fuse under the dash (labeled engine) in the fuse panel. It is very possible when they pulled the tranny they shorted a wire that blew a fuse. Let me know there might be a few other things to try if not a fuse.

we checked those.... they're all fine... any other sugjestions would be great!

might be your alternator, have you tried to boost it? And if you just had the tranny done and it doesn't work take it back and tell them to fix it.

could this just be a ground problem??? a wire that was screwed up with installation on the tranny? if so anyone got any ideas as to where the stupid wire is cuz i can't find it.... thats what it kinda sounds like to me.... let me know ppl!thanks

i paid someone else for installation. the guy who did the tranny doesn't install. he only warranties the tranny itself and not the installation.

I have bad news for you, it is going to cost an arm but not a leg. Your problen is more than likely your Igniter. This is located in the Distributor. It is the round flat plate that has a plug that is on the outside of the distributor. price is just over $300.00.

i had this problem and all i did was tightin the bolt right on top of the ignition(spelling) and it started right up
