Progress - Mercedes SLK AMG Black :)

Hi !

This is my first post at automotive forums.
I'm from Poland /Europen Union/, I live in Warsaw city and my name is Michal.

And this is my black SLK AMG from Fujimi

It will be all black, with black & buff interior and magnesium wheel (Model master metalizer)

Interior- I will paint with tamiya XF-57 Buff and black matt (probably Humbrol or Revell), "Body" first had sprayed Tamiya primer and has painted Model Master Gloss Black paint (3 coat - 1 mist and 2 wet).

I'v used Revell Spray Gun (very sipmle and ordinary airbrush, but my favorite) and for details of interior (for small amound of paint or for metalizer) I'v used Aztec A320 airbrush.

I decided to separate head restraint:

and wheels - painted Magnesium metalizer and polished (left wheel)

Shine, clear and black as coal :) - before polishing and apply wax (now "body" is drying (probably for week...))

Chrome-silver paint for headlight

and its interior - now is only painted with Tamiya XF-57 (buff), but the next step will masking and paint with matt black paint.

Wow, that is looking nice:) The wheels came out sweeeeeeeeet!

If my hobby store hadn't closed 35 minutes ago, I would be there buying the paint for the wheels. Those look awesome! My Z06 needs some mag wheels :grinyes: That's some great painting too!

Wheels looks more interesting than in picture, magnesium metalizer was ONLY ONE for this black SLK. Chrome silver was bad idea for this color of body.

(well... paint should be look great, and looks great !)

TanKaBoy - no, I will not lower it, mayby next time - I have one more SLK and probably I will make it as a "speedsteer" version.

This big disk brake come from fujimi and was made for 18" wheel
I will replace this small brake disk from slk fujimi.

This was my first kit and i also painted it black. I`m lookin forward to seeing full painted interior (mine is black-red).
