help me outttt

i ordered header and exhuast for a 96 dx. the header is 4-2-1 where it comes into 1 its got 2 bolt but where it matchs up to where the cat is its a 3 bolt setup on the exhuast where it connects to the header which is 2 help me out

Links dont work bro but I imagine your header is a 2 bold shorty..Which means it does not have the downpipeing that connects to your cat..

If you'd have done a little research before ordering parts like an idiot, you'd know what your problem is....

with the DX, the catalytic converter is in the exhaust manifold/header assembly.

In oder to use an after market header, you have to take your car to a muffler shop to have them install an EX catalytic converter to your DX piping, and then connect the header and the converter....

The catalytic converter will not bolt up to the DX piping.. they'll have to weld you some flanges on, or weld it to the piping.... it's going to cost you more money than you though.

well since this is not my car im not the one that ordered all the parts. but thanks for the help i was just trying to find out what was wrong and why wasn't that bolting up. i thought i was coming to the right place for some anwsers. if you need help with dsm and came to our forums i wouldn't give you some fucking smart ass answer.
