Oil leak question

It seems I've volunteered to find and repair the oil leak on my Girlfriends 1997 Firebird V6. I told her it appeared to be leaking from the rocker arm covers, but she insists it's leaking from the back side of the intake. Well I've started on this thing and I'm hoping I'm right because I hate to hear "I told you so" This car has less than 100K miles but leaves quite a bit of olil on the ground in the morning. I've started to remove the covers and have found one bolt on the passenger side underneath a bracket bolted on from the backside of the motor. Has anyone attempted this, and can you offer me any assistance? I know love makes us do crazy things, like attempt something this difficult.

never mesed with them befor i would say stop put it back together clean it up really good an make sure of where the oil is comeing from with any luck youl fin it easyer than you think
