85 LeBaron changed ignition switch cap coil rotor and injectors and still no spark or fuel ??? This is driving me :screwy: Help !?!?!?!

got the car runnig again but now have to hard line the coil directly to battery to stay running!?!? ANy suggestions?

you probably have a bad relay/a blown fuse or something, or bad wiring. You will need to look and see what it is

OMG it is sooooo obvious! Typical chrysler problem... BALLAST RESISTOR. Ceramic, mounted on firewall usually, sometimes on driver's fender... one bolt, two clips, it's done. carry a spare in your glovebox... they go out alot.

These don't use that style of ballast resistor. Haven't for years. This sounds like your hep. The plate under your distributor cap and rotor. This is what your computer uses instead of a cam or crank sensor. Throw in a used one and see.

They sure do! I've got one on my 87 ShelbyZ. It's right next to the coil though.
