Battery/Charging Issue

Yesterday I noticed my "Battery" warning light pop up, which generally is supposed to indicate that the Battery is not charging properly, although I wasn't noticing anything in the cars performance that would indicate a problem.
Today on the freeway the stereo stopped working, the windows wouldn't roll down, the air conditioner stopped running, turn signal didn't work...
Thinking it was a battery issue I got the battery replaced which fixed the aforementioned problems, but the "Battery" light is still on.
Could there be a bigger issue going on here?

Have checked the charging system? If it is functioning properly, check the wiring on the alternator. One wire trips the light.

I went through a the same thing, I found out it was my voltage regualtor, (which is mounted in back of your altenator) goes for about 40 bucks, I just went and bought a new altenator, it was original, so what the hell why not.

Thanks for the info. After replacing the battery on Friday I've experienced the same things (radio not working, same with air conditioning, windows, etc.) leading me to believe the problem is indeed with the alternator.
