That looks alot like the Boostdesigns stage 3 turbo kit.

All that for $4300 is a good deal for a package! I think the TurboXS kit is $4500 and doesn't include nearly as much. I think its a T3/T4 as well. Maybe a regular T4 though. Its just a bolt on kit though. Man, $4300 for all that and a bag of chips...You'd be in Heaven.

But unless you're building a race car or street legal super car you are just as well off to source the parts individually whenever you see good deals on them and build a stock-block KA-T for $1000-$1500. As for the fancy clutch: your tires will slip long before the clutch will. I'm still naturally aspirated and easily run out of traction in first and second gears on most public road surfaces; drag strips and curcuits are made from special asphault to improve traction so I don't have a problem there but with the power outputs you could be making on the parts you mentioned...I'm wondering how you're going to make it bite the ground in your lower gears. You might want to think about the 300ZX limited slip differential; its a higher gear ratio so you wouldn't break loose quite as easily. The bad thing about that though is that with a higher final drive you'll have even more trouble finding traction if you do accidently break loose.

Bottom line is that you'll need to spend another $4300 on suspension, wide & sticky wheels/tires, and custom fender flaring to ever make use of the power. Then you'd have your race car or street legal super car.

for the most part is it the Boostdesigns kit with a
minre change..

my plans are to get a junkyard pulled ka and rebuild it with the kit paint and powder coat the block
then swap it.

i was looking in to the greddy stage 1 kit but they wanted 2.6k at some cheap site and greddys site wanted 3.6k and that was 370cc inj with out a intercooler

al tho i dont know the quality of those injeters
so i may go VENOM injs and rails

i seen posting on here saying i should be able to get the block for about 300 to 600 with trany?

but over all i just wanted to see if the kit/parts were worth it

thanks

Skip the E-manage. Its not much cheaper than a tuned ECU plus it requires a laptop. Its a big, fancy, wanna-be standalone, but still a piggyback that does the old fashioned alter MAFS voltage trick. SAFC+BTM will get you the same deal. Just use the money plus a tiny bit extra and get a tuned ECU from either JWT or enthalpy as boostdesigns sells them for #50 injectors. Up side is no tuning is required.

And get a wideband O2 sensor. Best investment there is.

Its worth it. Trust me. Its really nice to have your fuel and timing maps taken care of instead of "Altered".
