what engine are you running?

If you dont know, check your VIN number, and tell us what the 8th digit is. we can work from that.

and welcome to the forum.

ASCD's ram air hood with ram air box, assuming you have the TPI setup.

well, with that you have to remember that the tpi intake is basicly four parts. the baseplate, runners, plennium, and throttle body.

The first mod is usually some sort of cold air intake, with good air filters, (K&N to be a stereotype).

After that you look to the throttle body. A common mod is a bolt in air foil for the stock throttle body which smooths out airflow into the bores, its worth a few ponies. They also sell larger bore throttle bodies with 52mm and 58mm bores, (stock is 48mm). But i wouldnt get those unless you do some major engine mods, they arent worth it for a stock engine.

The plenium is pretty much hard to modify, pretty much the only mods i can think of are if you install larger throttle bodies or runners and want to port match them to the plenium. which requires porting work to the orafaces of the plenium to enlarge and match them to the aftermarket parts. Other than this your only option is to replace the plenium with an aftermarket peice, such as a super ram plenium and runners.

There are many aftermarket makers with larger diameter pipes, as well as some that are siamesed for extra interior volume. edelbrock for instance.

The baseplate is pretty much the same as the plenium, not much room for modification but the aftermarket is there for ya too.

also, if you want to abandon the factory setup all together, there are several options available.

Accel superram plenium, runners, and baseplate. larger plenium, shorter runners, it extends the powerband up a good 1500rpm and is worth around 40hp. and uses all your factory mounting and sensors.

Holley stealth ram, dont know alot about it, but i think its a plug and play, and does about the same thing as the superram.

LT1 intake, morley has posted the link to this a few times, but basicly you modify an LT1 intake to fit the TPI engine and gain alot of power. HP is on par to the superram if not a bit more, but it sacrifices a good chunk of lower rpm torque.

im sure im forgetting some stuff, others should add on.
