Check out the SlowBoyRacing clutches. They're supposed to have just as much clamping force as the ACT 2600, but have a much lighter pedal feel and also be easier on the thrust bearing. It's the clutch I will be getting, for sure. www.slowboyracing.com

I was gonna be getting a dude's act 2600 for cheap cause he F***** his car up rolling it into a ditch to avoid an accident...... He said tranny and clutch for 400. If the ACT 2600 causes crankwalk....then I don't think I should put it on...
So does anyone know how much more likely I am to get crankwalk if I swap the clutch?
Plus...to prevent crankwalk, could I just throw in a new crankshaft or what? Does a new crankshaft prevent crankwalk??
Man I hate that word. I need help with this shit.

Crankwalk is a problem with 2g's with beastly clutches...yea the 2600 can do it...if you are concerned, and aren't going much over 350hp, 2100 works great, I have it in my car, bites hard but is very streeable. 400 is a good price for the clutch, and ACT is a damn good choice. Also, some cars are more prone to crankwalk than others. 95's supposidly had crankwalk about 10% of the time, while the worst year was 97 with a 35% rate. I don't know how accurate this numbers are...Many people also say that if you havent crankwalked by the time you hit 60K miles, you prob arent going to get it. Honestly, if your 2g, unless you get a 6bolt, it prob wouldent be a good idea to modify it too much...
