Please HELP! Engine ?'s, swap?

Alright, I'll try to keep this short...
I bought a 2001 MR2 Spyder late last summer...kitted it, lowered it, exhaust, short shifter, etc...anyhow, I just brought it out of storage for spring, and last night I seized up the engine. I was wondering, as I am not familiar with the car yet, what options I have. I was thinking about rebuilding and was wondering what that would cost, what parts I should use, where I could have it done (I live in Michigan by the way)...really, any information will help. I was also thinking about doing a swap...I've heard the Celica GT-S engine is popular. What do those cost? Where could I/should I get one? Would I need a new trans? Any other good swap ideas?

Anyhow, I need all the help I can get...summer is coming up soon, and I need to be able to drive my Spyder! PLEASE HELP! Any information helps!

What led to it seizing up? Overheating?? Seems like theres some info youre leaving out... Were there leaks, etc?
