I added an aftercooler (I think someone told me thats the term for an intercooler attached to a supercharger) to the black one and had to pipe it all up but its mostly just those cosmetic things you can see there.

a superchager's cooling system is still called an intercooler

That's what I thought too...

If you mean paint, just look at Honda racecars... look at the old and new F1 cars, JGTC, motorcycles, hell, anything that catches your eye...

I was lying to protect the innocent.

If you want ricey stuff or street cruisters, check out cardomain. They have alot of crap but there are some very unique samples there.

Oh No! well if you can't make a hard top, Or a WBK, MAYBE YOU SHOULD PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT! Since your not talented, OR WILLING TO TRY you should just give Mike 300$ & you S2000, He'll make it REAL nice.

The easiest thing to do is change rims...but you said you dont want to do that.

Ok, first of all you need an idea. I sometimes get ideas from looking at other peoples work and going from there. Another great way to start is to just take the entire car apart. Start with those screws on the bottom and go from there. Get all the parts laid out (take it slow and don't break anything) and think of what you could paint, remove, or alter. I sometimes start with painting door panels or something like that. It's pretty easy to paint too, just lay down some primer and then some paint, both from cans. Inevitably you're going to ruin parts and sometimes cars. I have a graveyard of more than 10 cars. They were important learning expierences and donated parts to other cars.

Since I have the Ertl S2k I can tell you a few quick things to do. Open up the car and scrape off the glue holding the pins of the spoiler to the trunk and paint that all black (if you have the black one).

The rims can be easily removed once you take the car apart and you can paint those another color. See that pink S2K above and the rims it has on it? I didn't actually modify the car to put those on. They can be very easily swapped in (they're a little tight but you can loosen them up with some sandpaper). If you don't have any excess rims from a 1:24 Dub City truck go buy a "kit" which will have an extra set with it.

Paint the calipers with a brush, make an intercooler from the tutorial in the plastic modelling section and add that on, get some nail polish remover and get rid of the sponsors. Start out small and go from there. I know everyone is saying "drop a wbk on it and a candy paintjob" but that's intimidating to almost anyong. Chances are I would give up long before its finished. Do something you can actually finish or you'll get intimidated. Some of my favorite cars have nothing but a new set of rims or a spoiler added on. :2cents:

Just to let you know, that 1/18 350z from maisto that u have, i have that same thing. When the first time i tried to modify it, i actually took the whole car apart. And i found out you can take out that giant annoying Z thing in the hatch. I took mine out and now, there's ton of space where i can put stuff.

The only way your gonna get good at this stuff is if you screw up first. Learn from your mistakes, and move on. Thats the best mod I ever did! lol

k. thanks for the ideas. I might not try to do the spoon s2k cuz im am only a newbie. ill go with the basic mods. If i have time, i might get another one of these s2ks and make it into a spoon s2k. But i still have 1 question: if i decide to do that, there's already a veilsde hood and bodykit and roja wheels. I don't know where to get those wheels and the hood and how to make the stock bodykit. I think i could do that with a autoart s2000, but i don't wanna mess up a expensive car like that. advice please!

Ill try to do that. But i don't know how to make that polysomethin digital decal on the side and get the hood. Also, i saw all these other pics of the spoon s2000 with all these other decals. I don't know if i should make the one with a ton of decals or the one with out the decals since im a newbie.
