Newbie here has a technical question.I recently had a bad injector @ 160,000 mi. Replaced them & noticed 1 was dripping occationally causing rough idle.Parts store replaced w/Delphi brand & same thing.Fuel pump, filt. & pressure diaphram new.Runs strong .Does the fuel program in computer control this? Or should I be looking towards mechanical than electrical ? mpg reflects poor spray pattern

Replacing injectors again, talked to parts people & double checking #'s Could be injectors for a big block,,we'll see what they come up with.

I think if you put bigger injectors in and didn't increase the air you would just be wasting gas. I had a "93 TBI and put the Holley unit on it and boy did that run like crap. I read somewhere that the stock unit is good for up to 400 horses. I had an FIPK, Jet chip, ceramic headers into 3" exhaust with no mufflers and it ran great...loud but great. The next thing would have been new heads but that just seemed like too much work. I did try electric fans and that made a BIG difference but on a hot day it would overheat and I took them off. I also tried a March under drive pulley and that worked great but at idle it was trashing the air cond compressor.
