i was in walmart and this guy in sporting goods was talking to this other dude wanting to trade a 94 harley sportster for a camaro, that other guy said that he didnt know of anybody. so i asked what was he looking for, he said that he wanted a iroc perferably 88-90, red, black or blue.
and i had to be in good shape before he would trade. i had just redone the engine and tranny, the car doesnt even have 100 miles on it. i cleaned it up really good, waxed and buffed it. it looked like a new paint job after i got done with it. i also took each wheel off and sanded, painted and re-clearcoated the rims. so i thought this guy will jump all over this deal. he followed me home, looked at the car the man loved it.
when he opened the hood and saw that it wasnt a tpi iroc he said "305??" i said yes, but with 37 miles on rebuilt engine and tranny. he wanted to drive it, so i let him, he liked the way it ran so when we got back he got out said its a fine car, but i dont know............It being a 305 was killing the deal. so i showed him my rs and told him about swapping the 305 to a 350. he said i'll call you. 1 hour later he called and said yes i want the car and to meet him at the court house with it and he would bring the bike. come to find out this man had 3 sportsters for me to choose from. here is the one i chose

I like it, I would love to have a bike but I love speed too much and would end up killing myself on one of those things. Good luck to ya with it though man  and give Grease the joy ride of her life :evillol:

well, i paid 900 for the iroc, put 600 in the motor rebuilding it, 375 in the tranny for a rebuild and shift kit, and done some detailing on the inside and outside of the car. so really i got a good deal, cause i have looked around and the cheapest one i could find at harley shops were around 4k. so i jumped all over that deal. I rode the bike all day today.

its easy to get a permit, just take a written test. next im gonna get some tattoos. Oh grease, i cant double up on it until i go for the test course, and pass it and get my cyclist license.
