I have a heavly modified 97 Eclipse GSX and due to the fact that it is turboed I have to run supreem, also with it being a all wheel drive, I don't get the best gas milage. I was considering trading it for a NA car, posibly a MKIV Supra. I was curious if you guy just run regular gas, or if you have to run a higher octain. I was also curious how much it curently costs you to fill your tanks and how many miles you get per tank.

I have a n/a MKIV and a single turbo MKIV as well. They recomend that you run 93 in the n/a cars as well, but it's not required. I normally run 89-93 in the car but I never put the 87 octane in. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt it, but I'm more of the be safe type of person with that car. I don't know the exact mpg for the n/a car but it's pretty much the same as any sports car, stay out of the gas and it will last you. :) Good luck with your search, let me know if you need any help.

Actualy I was more or less wondering how much it curently cost you to fill your tank, how much do you pay per gallon, and how many mile do you get per tank. Such as it costs me around $25 or more dollars to fill up at $2.35 per gallon, and I get about 250 miles per tank.

My car (2002 sentra spec v) isn't that far off...it costs me 21-23 dollars to fill up and I get about 270-290 miles to a tank...usually about 27-29mpg...and I use premium at all fill-ups
really...unless you get a small car with a relatively small engine...you won't get good gas mpg and decent acceleration...you'd be better off look at a second-gen mr2 turbo (24-29mpg) or even maybe a slow car (cavalier, corolla, etc) and a 600cc sport bike...you can get almost 50mpg with one...then again it will cost you more for insurance...
plus the hit you take to get a different car, register it, etc etc etc...and then gas prices will come down and you'll miss your eclipse...

Klohig, that is actualy a realy funny post. My friend ouns a secend gen MR2. I my self also have an Aprilia RSVR (a 1000 cc italian pasta rocket). Ans as for the Eclipse you are probably right. the car is hell of fast. With the rising gas prices I thought I might want to try and go NA. The thing is I've alway said there are only three cars out there I would ever trade my car in for: A MKIV Supra, a third gen RX-7 or a R34 Skyline. I was just curious if I would end up saving an money on a NA Supra
