Seized Wastegate

My wastegate might be seized....and I know if that happens..your turbo won't last long... don't ask why I'm saying it might because it's a long story...but anyone know how to check for sure?? Anyone have one lyin around? Lemme know thanks

I know on my old car you could push the "bar" going from the actuator to the wastegate in one direction ... kinda tough but I could move it.... have you tried that? If I remember correctly it was to the right....

So if I could move it that's a good thing? Or does that mean it's seized?

I would have to say that if you could move it, it wasn't seized.
I'm sure it could be possible to seize one but I have never heard of that happening to anyone....
