The other day my 2001 Rodeo 3.2L V6 turn off when driving. Took a couple of minutes to restart and finally did. After getting it started the check engine light came on. Engine was running rough, loss of power and sputtering from sound of misfiring. The next morning start it up and had the same problems. Took it to Autozone to have the cel read. The codes were P0300. On the way home turn off and now will not start.

how many miles do you have on your plugs?
Also, it could be the intake manifold gasket.

About 5000 miles. But change already, also changed fuel filter. Someone suggested that could be the problem. Will try intake manifold gasket.

what brand of plugs?
It could be bad gas.
Water in the gas (add a can of HEET)
clean up your ground connection (to the body and to the alt bracket).

Change the IMG today. Still won't start. Seems like a ignition problem. Like it not getting a spark.

did you try to jump it?
Maybe there is a cell in the battery shorting out?

let me guess someone at autozone told you BOSH platinum plugs were the best and would increase your fuel economy if so that is where the problem is
the only good use I have found for BOSH platinum plugs is as weights on a trout line
this engine needs to have nippendenso plugs unless someone else has foud plugs that work well with the 3.2 if so let us know once the correct plugs have been installed clear the DTC's and let me know if the light comes on if it does I will lead you to the broken wire in the engine harness
