Secondary Air Injection Pump

I had previously posted a message on what I thought may be a bearing noise from the turbo on a 2001 1.8T, AWV engine. Turned out it is a failing Secondary Air Injection Pump (part of the emissions system, acting much like an EGR valve) that the dealer would like $715 to replace. Best price I can find on the web is approx $360 for the part and would appreciate any input as to where I could better the price.
Also, if the veedubmechanic is reading this or any other knowledgeable mechanic, would be thankful for any advice on changing the pump out. Or, if your input is that this is something a DIY should not attempt, I won't!
Thanks to those that spend their time helping others on this forum.

You should be able to do it yourself. Used at http://www.car-part.com they won't list it separately, so just look up a similar part at a yard near you & call their 800 number.
