Can anyone give me a site that has and engine diagram for a 1989 cavalier 2.8. i think i might be missing an ac hose but not sure.

1989 is a 2.2 L4 or a 3.1V6. As for a missing hose? You should have 2 attached to the compressor. A Haynes manual has nice photos and diagrams.

my engine says 2.8 so thats what im going by

Sorry about that. The V6 in 1989 was a 2.8 liter.
