auto Alarm

I had to put a new battery in my car and the Code Alarm security system will not recognize my remote any more. How can I reprogram it. I took it to an "Audio specialist" and they said they knew nothing.

Find the "brain box" for your Code Alarm. Unplug all the harnesses from the box. Wait 1 minute. Plug all the harnesses back into the box, then press the arm button on your remote.

Usually, that works... if it doesn't you may have to "erase the memory of the code alarm" Do you still have the installation booklet?
