91 Cav quits

i have a 1991 Cavalier V6, when Im driving it if I make a complete stop it wants to quit, and if im stopped for more than a minute, it will quit, what is the problem?

well... i'd immediately assume the alternator, but there may be something else there. see how much power is coming off the alt and check the forums to see what average is.

check stuff like ur air filter and that...ahh plugs..wires that kind of stuff...

my old pontiac did the same thing and all it was, was a 5 dollar air filter...the old one u couldnt even see tho...i think it was time for a new one
