Hello,

I'm new here and I have some questions about buying damaged EVO8 - which I will transport to Europe and repair here.

In past I found some pages which sell damaged cars from USA

http://www.crashescars.com/eng/search/?mode=show1&id=01279425

Is there somebody who have expiriences with this auction system? Are they reliable? Are there some other ways to buy such car from USA (links?)?

Have anybody know which parts are simple for changing, because prices of this cars are very low?

Why in USA don't repair this cars? Are parts and work so expensive?

If somebody know any answer please help me.

mato, buying a damaged evo would be a big mistake. some of them might only need a few repairs because the owner is a lazy ass who doesn't feel like repairing it(typical american), but some of them are a lost cause and it would be a complete waste of money. You have no way of finding out the real extent of the damage and some people will con you just for a quick dollar. if your'e gonna buy something from the states, make sure it's new.

Is there a problem with engines and other mechanical parts also? Because this cars has mileag around 5000?

If it's problem only with damaged shell (doors etc) thats not a problem to replace and/or repair.

In what codition are generally USA EVO's?

to me it looks like that car's frame is bent, it will never drive right

if it only needs body work it should be ok, but like drdisque said, if the frame is bent it will never be good for anything other than scrap parts. if you can find out what happened to the car and make sure the frame isn't bent.
