went to Honda today for a "check-up" and found out one of my axle seals is leaking transmission fluid. They'll fix it.... for $109!!!! The seal only costs $12, is it too difficult for me to fix it myself? Or do I need to have them do it? I'm just fixin to spend $250 on a new HU and front door speakers, I'd rather not blow my birthday money on repairing something if I don't have to. Thanks for help.

It's easy you just need tools and a manual.

yea just hand tools and a manual will do it but make sure you have the patience because you dont want your car torn in a million pieces laying on your garage floor. it's gonna take time so be prepared for it.;)

its not like you are swapping an engine and want the best place to install it. Find a place that can put that axle cover on like a mom and pop shop that cost between 45-65 dollars that save u money.

I got time...
but what kind of manual? Only manual I got is my Owner's manual. Please specify how I do it, if its not too hard. I am excited about getting to fix something on my car myself, but I'm a complete novice. I am very smart though, and I catch on quick, but I lack info. Thanks for help!!
