1993 topaz

please help, i have the same problem as righthandofevil
changed battery, battery wire, starter, solenoid, all i get is a clicking sound, wont even try to turn over, replaced starter again, still only clicking sound, no start at all, not even with jump
any suggestions?

Try turning the engine with socket and ratchet at lower crank pulley.
Hope it's not !

you may have also installed a defective starter or other component.
Is there a push on blade type connector on this starter. If so check that it's not corroded.

bad ground .....at starter,at tranny,at frame by battery........clean and reinstall.....

If you still have problems.....buy a haynes repair book at the nearset auto parts store.
