DAMN I miss my car soooooooooooooooo much

Been in the shop for a month and a half now! Ever since the clutch went bad, I had to have it towed to the shop, then a few days went buy, then they saw it was the clutch, then it took a week of talking to RPS, then I mailed the clutch to them, then they mailed a new disc back, then I found out the tranny leaked, etc etc, so on and so forth, until I'm here now. And it looks like I won't have my car done until next week.

I have a new custom sub box to install in my car and the spark plug cover, not to mention the weather is freaking awesome now, and I can't drive.

I'm going to go crazy soon.

what kind of subs you got just out of curiosity? I'm going to go with 2 15 SE. and a Elemental Designes 1. give me around 150db hehehe.

Gateway, I feel for ya man, mine was down for 2 weeks from teh oil cooler, I got it running for 3 days, and then bust 2 rims. It's been parked again for the last week and a half. You really do notice how much you miss it even more when you get weather like todays.

Yea I jsut got the car back on the road after having it on jack stands for a week and a half. Sucks to have a pissy car.

Same here freakin nice out everyones chillen and my cars been in the shop they want $2200 for my tranny with a 6 month warranty and another shop wants $1500 with a year warranty. Im gonna sell it soon as i fix the tranny if anyones interested let me know. Trying to get a Subaru in the summer if i can afford it.

I still haven't taken mine out of storage. A few more weeks.....

update: car won't be done for about 2 more weeks (i'm guessing) due to another snag :(

i hopes my stealth don't give me that many problems since it will be my main mode of transportation.

Ditto...it's the blue prison buses (aka off-campus transportation) or relying on my girlfriend. Either way, I end up spending a few extra hours waiting for transportation every day, and constantly stay about 40mph shy of triple digits...definantly not my idea of a good time. And this weather doesn't help at all.

Wow, damn....that just totally put everything in perspective and I feel worse for you guys than what I originally did. I remember my first two years in college. We didn't have a car and either took the bus or asked for rides (which SUCKS!!!) from people and it was terrible. Damn fellas....so sorry man..... :(

im so pissed off i gave my car to this local guy to put ina flywheell and that took about 2 weeks but the part that really pisses me off is that he blew the entire ecu when he put the tranny back in. wait it gets better after he put in a new computer he still cant get the fuckin thing to start and he said its MY FAULT what a load a shit.

Its been over 2 months and i want my car back the weather is so nice in new york.

You're not paying for anything that went wrong right? Only the flywheel? 'Cause man, that's gonna suck if he made you pay for everything to get your car back.
