Should I buy - Golf '92?

Should I buy '92 Golf? Hatchback, 4 door, 5sp, $2395 Cdn.

I'm sick of my car payments. I'd rather have the money and drive a good old car. Is the '92 Golf a good car? I'd be grateful for any thoughts.

I like the older A2's better than the A3's. If the car isn't worn out with tons of kilometers it should be inexpensive to drive. It should be in really good shape for that much $.
