Regal - 1994 - Should I buy?

Should I buy a 1994 Buick Regal? $1750 Cdn. Is it worth it? I live in Toronto.

You did not provide enough information. What is the condition of this car? Mileage? 2dr or 4rd?

Remember that this is 11 year old car and if it was maintained by the owner it might be worth but if it has hight mileage and nothing was done on this car, it might not.

It's 4dr, white w/dark int. The dealer promises - Cert + E-test + 3 yr Warr. incl. h/w km.

The info I have is the info printed in the Auto Trader Magazine. I don't know the mileage. What do you think would be acceptable for an 11 year old car? Or is mileage even my greatest concern?

If everything works and the car does not have excessive mileage plus if you are getting 3yr warranty, I think $1700 is a good price. Make sure you check the mileage and condition with mechanic before you buy it. You might want to check the terms of the warranty because it is kinda strange that dealer gives 3yr warranty on 11 year old car. There might be mileage or other restrictions.

I think that is a good price. I paid $2995 for a 1995 Regal 4 dr custom, in pretty good shape.

Go to KBB.COM to get the price of cars...1700 sounds fishy...considering they offer a 3 year warranty....Chances are real good the car will need more than 1700 worth of work in the next 3 years.
