What all do you need for a system

I have a 98 contour and I want to get a system... Im not smart about cars or audio lol so like Ive heard about amps and subwoofers. what all do i need???

well, your going to need a cd player with at least 1 set of pre amp outputs. Most today come standard with at least 2 sets. Your going to need obviously some subs, a box, and an amp. The rest from there is just wiring. Your going to need something like a Street Wires kit that includes a 4-8 gauge power wire that connects from your battery and runs back to your amp. Youll also need a set of preamp output wires that runs from the back of your cd player to your amp. Youll need just some regular speaker wire that runs from your subs (usually there is connectors in the box you hook into) to your amp. I believe the Wires kit will also include a ground wire for your amp as well.
