89 Corolla - Trick It Out!

Evening guys,
Ive got a 1989 Toyota Corolla Im trying to get looking pretty tight and running just as tight :) Im looking into getting stuff now for looks, etc; before I start with performance stuff this summer. Im going to get one or two red neon lights for the interior (car is red) and possibly look into getting a undercar neon kit. However, I was wondering what else I can do to the car to make it physically appealing, without having to damage my bank account too much. Havent found much on websites, everything is for the newer rollas... was hoping someone can maybe suggest a few things on here and point me in the right direction. Thanks to all who reply.

go for the basics - Tint (if you don't already have it), Intake, headers, exhaust, DROP HER, and rims! i know the rims are a big purchase, but it's an eye-opener. Check www.tirerack.com for what rims will fit your car - they have a good selection to start off with.
