custom exhaust for my modified silverado

got bored and went out with my digital camera and took some vids of the exhaust I made up for my truck over the weekend , sounds good for a V6 , although not many V6 are making 400ponies without a turbo charger or super charger :D

uphill run , only got it up to 3rd before some shitty import got in my way >=(

Gonna play with the gearing next , right now shifting at 5000rpm 1st switches at 45mph , 2nd at 75mph, 3rd at 110 , and fourth will go pretty high but not much torque , no area around here to go that fast either way. Any idea's which rear ratio will bring the last gear around 130 at a high rev ? , would give me a bit quicker shifts :p

excellent truck. nice vids. dont worry about that guy, who knows what his deal is. also, easy on the imports. im a big domestic car guy, but imports can hold there own also. hope to see more vids soon.

your right some can , most are shitty though , maybe a bodykit/ rice rocket muffler and some rims. I'd rather see in stock looking import making like 350hp then a good looking but slow one :p

I guy where i work drives a 1970 Roadrunner all restored and redone and my buddy has a fully restored 1966 Nova setup for drag racing , but its still street legal.

You have a V6 Silverado that does NOT have 400 horsepower. List the parts you have that would enable you to have 400 horsepower without a supercharger or turbocharger. yea sorry i dont have a high tech camera that films great in the night, compressing a file down to 6mb does cause some quality lose, which appearently you dont realize. Any if you really want a list lemme know, you'd be surprised what you can do with a 262ci chevy engine with the right knowledge

btw id love to own a volkswagon if it sounded like that ;)

P.S I'm pretty sure a SR20DET engine with a turbo running around 13psi makes around same hp as a stock v6 , but like you said , "v6 silverado sucks so much" :p

Have u dynoed your car to see if it's given you more umph? I kinda agree with you as well on the imports. Some really just make you wanna go over and kick it, but I personally find the EVO VIII MR FQ400 worthy. If you're going out of the US, find a MR and take it for a ride. :)

I find it funny how all these ppl get a cold air intake and an exhaust and think there vehicle has so much power.....and its not just sport compact guys its muscle car guys also.....they think its fast and has an assload of power but they have never been to a track and or a dyno. im not knocking ne ones vehicle its just frustrating.....ive seen big V8 making ALOT of power but dont run less than a 13 sec. cuz there in tanks and i have seen 4 cyl turbo charged puttin down 600 HP....ANYTHING is possible with a lil time and knowledge and money!

Yeah... Yeah... i get what u mean!! I've seen many! Some guys place a sticker or two on their cars, "type R" or "HKS", and all of a sudden their cars are a hundred horses heavier! Then they travel around tilting their seats real low and far back for that "aerodynamic effect", not calculating the fact that there's a windscreen right infront of them.
