Chirping noise

Intermittent chirping noise after installing new alternater and belt on 91 tercel..any ideas??

Possibly the belt isn't tight enough and is slipping.

Thanks for your response..I have adjusted the belt..and still does it intermittently..?

you may have to adjust it more than once...

when i did an engine swap in my 1990 tercel, i replaced all the belts and i had the same problem... i just kept re-adjusting it until it quit doing it.... the belts do stretch, especially if you buy the cheapies.
