Seeing that i did not get the chance to post in the last thread i made because it got locked- i would like to requote myself " and for future ref i am not under 20- and those that are under 18 i don't even think they should post" Then i said something around the line that 16 or 15 years olds should if they are haveing a problem with their car- most people younger than that don't even know the real facts about the cars- just wanted to have the chance to defend myself. For me, it's probably a toss-up between Signal and Mine's. I'm a fan of formidable roadcourse cars. Signal's R34 GT-R won the first Time Attack event in the US, and Mine's R34 GT-R was a responsive track wonder.

I also like how Top Secret put a VQ in an R34 GT-R. I wish NISMO had done that for the Z-Tune.

The Z-tune was about making the best performing GTR to celebrate the GTR's racing legend, which was Nismo's main flagship. Nismo started the VQ the GTR, but only did it for a season and a half in the JGTC. And the VQ was never ran in it with any of the other races like Nurnburgring. So having a VQ in the Z-Tune would have gone against it's heritage really. I mean the RB-X 2.8L race engine has quite a reputation that the VQ is attempting to attain.

Anyways, the tuners are a tough call. As far as down to earth tuners that I've dealt with/can afford. Myself has always been the top one! Other then that, Auto Shop Turbo on Okinawa, Japan was pretty good.

My favorite big name tuners, Mine's and URAS.

The VQ definetly puts more power and is probably more efficent but I still would like to say my Z-tune has an RB in it just for tradition.

not sure my tuner dont have a car so i cant tell you but all of the tuners are good for cheap well not really. some suck.

one more thing its the internet and the age thing who cares but you should say under 16 cause some have cars but not most. i dont care if im 13 and proud of it i like cars and why with this age thing it will never happen unless its porn thats the only thing that will be 18 or older. This could be a site for people to acually learn about cars more

I would have to go with Mines on this one. But Top Secret, HKS, Apexi, and blitz are all high respected companies. Even though they are not a tuner company, I would like to say that Tein is one of the best companies also. Very nice people working there.

yes for a skyline. Mines has created some awsome skylines in the past. One was shown on best motoring. It sound, looked, and performed superb. Orido and the "Drift King" gave it really high marks. And I also know that Mines has a lot of respect for making awsome cars.

I love Mine's too. Gotta love how fast that R34 whips up his RPM's to 9K faster than Kobayahsi can down a hot dog.

I would never trust Auto Shop Turbo on Okinawa to even get within inches of my car. I watched them do a simple computer tune to my friend's silva S-13 w/RB25DET swap and jack it all up. the #4 rod broke and they bent his Work's wheel up against the curb right before our eyes and refused to pay for the damages! they don't even give discounts for parts anymore now that they are under "new management". they used to be pretty good for parts beating the catalog price by 10-15%. they really suck now. don't let them touch your car. parts only, but expect to pay full price and then some.

To answer both your questions it was motorex who tuned the skyline in the 2f2f movie. Its real name is the blackbird. 550 whp.

BTW - Lambos suckass... especially the new ones lmao @ 4wd and 3600lbs and calling it a supercar. There overweight over powered monsters who suck ass on the track. Its funny watching the GT3's lap them in alms I must say...

Motor no I saw under the hood right after the movie was done its fine. I know leiberman had it. All he did was replace the lines with gold lines from some shitty all show company the ECU I dont know but I do know the turbos where not changed nor the internals. The car was running 550 before the movie and 550 after the movie.

blackbird doesnt exist anymore. once leiberman took the car, he turned it into the ricers dream. looks like shit, performs worse than when hiro had it. the car was actually tested (same with all the cars in the movie), and it only ran 378 or something like that.

QFT. my crx w/ b16a swap ran 14's on a stock motor. now, its at low 13's high 12's (with right conditions). ive seen civic hatch'es run with vipers, and win.

Thanks for the help and the pics. Yes I have played Tokyo Extreme Racer, I own the 3rd one and it is because of this game I found out about the MCR R34. It's after this game I begane looking into more tuner cars.

Zero feels way more videogameish as far as speed an handeling an power to.
