Almost got owned...

Ok today were driving back from school. My friend has a 93 vette with mods (fun :evillol: ). Were messing around the whole way to my house. So we get to a stop sign and smoke em. And I mean all the way down to the floor!
We spin em for like a good five seconds and hit a patch of sand We get totally sideways and start SLIDING right towards a tree so he cuts it the other way we kick back hard! We grip an I swear all 360 horses griped the road but keep in mind were facing sideways.. We rocket towards a tree my friend SLAMS on the breaks! We slide to a stop about an inch from the tree an a guy almost rear ended us. Lets just say the tree an car distance was barely enough to fit 3 fingers in between at most. Always fun almost crapping your self! :grinno:

maybe the only reason he did it was because there were no people around. Thats how I drive. I dont fuck around unless theres no one in sight. I still think it was dumb to go flooring it in a vette while the tires are turning over and you have no experience with 360 RWHP. At least dont do that in a place with trees, shit. Learn in an abandoned parking lot, not in a residential. I hope ALL the skidmarks will teach you both a lesson.

Got sideways doing a burnout in a residential and kept it floored? I agree with clawhammer and eversio. You want to do burnouts go to an empty parking lot, or better yet, a burnout contest or the track.

This just proves to me that we need more racing circuits in the world. I like going fast. I like pushing the car to the very edge. However, I don't want to kill anyone. Some of these jackass drivers that treat other motorists like cones in an obstacle course piss me off.

Well, Lets put it this way you guys got very lucky in more then one way. A lot of shit could have happend in those very little moments of time that could have messed up the rest of your life. You could of had a bad accident with just the car and the tree, Or with another driver. Or worst a person could of come from no where and the car could of hit them. In my experiance of doing stupid shit all that ive learned is to not due it in the first place. I suppose god did not think it was your time to go.

I know what you mean to had a close call about a year back. 4 lanes 5 cars opposite direct of me. 11:30 at night driving back from relatives. I see head light but think nothing of it at first and then all of a sudden the 4 glaring lights lined up directly with my car. wasnt a good felling. Not only did he come in my lane but went all the way over to dodge me. I was in the left hand lane traveling south an he went all the way into the south bound right hand lane. I got a glipse of the car it was a black charger. Ill never forget the shape of those headlights ever again. When ever I see a charger I think about that one moment an if I would have tryed to swerve right he would have hit me if I would have went left it was all traffic an 4 other cars weeveing.
