Best way is to feather the clutch at about 2500-3000rpm for the launch.
Redline 1st
shift at 5900rpm from 2nd to 3rd
5500rpm from 3rd to 4th
and 5300 from 4th to 5th.

So what about when the tires start spinning in 1st? Should I just eat them up until the car takes off?

Like I said, feather the clutch with about a 75% throttle. Don't just drop it.

I tried this technique. My car ran the best it has ever ran before. I usually just red lined my car in every gear, but I tried this and I felt more pickup than ever before. Thanks, man.

Awesome! I forgot about that irritating balance shaft, even tho I don't know much about it. I'd like to see some comparisons on a clutch/flywheel mod. Great 60' time, by the way. You rock!

my engine,QR25, has a balance shaft assembly. it's to reduce vibrations and make for a smoother ride. Jim wolf technologies makes a removal kit that comes with windage trays.. i have the assembly in my garage i should take a pic so you can see what i'm talking about, but basically removing this free's up 8-9whp. it's one of the better mods for the buck. it took me roughly 3 hrs to complete, but that includes going and buying tools i didn't own. let me know if you wanna see a pic.

I'd be totally interested in seeing a pic. Also, how much did it cost? Another question... does any of this void warrantees? Thanks, bro.
