these are 2 testors kits models from Boyd Coddington cars. the kits are very similar. the paint on the smoothster is a flat black base and a candy grape overcoat. the coupester is a racing green with tamiya pearl white over coat. i built both these kits over 2 years ago, so they arnt that good. they have also been collecting dust for 2 years so the paint is a little faded. and yes, that is a massive paint chip on the smoothsters hood from it being droped. i also managed to lose both kits master cylenders and brake lights. :disappoin

Curious, is that the stock ride height in the vert? Or did it have to be lowered?

both kits are totally stock. if ur back seams to high, u can cut the last support on the frame so u dont have to feed the exhaust pipe under it.

Hey,
The green ones paint looks really cool. How did you get the dark green to show through? Did you use bmf for teh headlights? I am not a fan of these cars. But, you did a great job on the models! Keep up the great work!!

i painted the green one totally, then the pearl white didnt cover it totally, so the green still came through. i painted under the hood green and then put the hood on so no white in under the hood.
the hood did come with a little mbf but i used it on the intake manifold. for the headlights i just painted the black with testors silver.
