i got mine for $100. just go to www.car-parts.com and look for the Z32 maf's or j30 maf's. they are the same. look for all the junkyards near your area that carries them and look for the one with the lowest price, then just go there and pick it up personaly.

I guess this is the one good thing about being stuck in Germany.......all the parts!!!! and good engines!!!
I came accross a Nissan junk yard in Berlin about a month ago and was able to pull 3 SR20DET's with transmissions and harnesses, 2 Z32 MAf's, and 1 RB25DET all for 1000 euro (about 1200 dollars).
Germans only care about there Bimmer's and porsch's, they have no idea the value of a good Niisan Engine

quick question. i'm assuming the Z32 mafs are going to be used in your 240's. What's the reason for it?

N/A Z32, TT Z32, and Infiniti J30 all use the same MAFS. Make sure you get the harness too.

It's bigger, let's more air through. At some point, the SR/KA MAFS can't handle all the air.

A certian size pipe can only flow so much air under isobaric conditions. It is like a restrictor for your intake. Only this is a restrictor that only restricts when you reach a certian power level. At that point, you just don't make any more power plus it may cause problems.

maf voltage craps out above roughly 270whp. it will not sustain the higher voltage and will die.
z32 maf's support roughly 550whp.

On my S-AFC there is a read out that shows how close the MAF is to maxing out in %. I'm flowing about 15 lb/min and the peak reading from the MAF is usually 50%, under rare circumstances I've seen 65% but it had to be a glitch in the electronics. Anyway, the stock MAF should be good to 30 lb/min assuming that the % of max change is linear with air flow. You'll never need the Z32 MAF without a turbo. And a turbo motor flowing more than 30 lb/min has no excuse to make under 330 SAE net hp; no excuse besides poor tuning that is.
