05 srt-4 vs 03 vette close call

Ok this was last nite around 11:30 pm

i was comming home from work and i notice that there was olny 2 cars on the highway for about a good 2 miles which was very eeriee to begin with. i was bitter from work and wanting to blow off some steam lucky me the other car was the vette. with a guy in his 30s also going home we pced next to each other a minute. we look at each other and we squeeze all the way to the left lanes to be on the safe side.(no one jumping on frome and on ramp to disrupt.)so the vette honks it down and even gave me a small head start. (until i can see the glimmer of the headlights in the rear view and were going at it i look down so im at 90-95ish and the vette is closing the gap faster than a fat kid chasing cake.then he gets next to me and looks at me with a big grin like :iceslolan and im about to admit defeat and out of the corner of my eye i see a car get on the highwayand chop 2 lanes over and stop in the vetts lane i quickly point at the car and the vette guy looks at it and mashes on the brakes within seconds i pass the random car and i look in the rear view and just see white smoke everywhere. i just go and pull over in the left shoulder get out and looking in shock. then i see the vette come out of the smoke untouched and pulls in right behind me on the shoulder. the guy gets out and is in a cold sweat and bluntly tells me: Damn, that was a close one lemme call my wife and tell her imma go have a beer with ya kid! i was like :eek7: then i said naw i got a long day tomorrow plus im olny 19. then he said Alrighty then son god bless ya! he pulled out and left.... funny after the small talk we were still the olny 2 cars on the highway aside from that other one

Good story. Don't know if I woulda turned down the beer, but other than that, way to look out for the other guy.
