my freind has a 98 civic ex and he bent a rod on his y8 a while ago. he then bought a stock d16y7(no tranny) for $1500 :banghead:.not only that he gave the place he bought his motor from, his y8 as a core. anyways he wants to put vtec head on y7. solinod just hanging there. can he use y7 dizzy with y8 or z6 head(which ever he uses)? which head would be better to use?

Y7 distributor will bolt right onto Y8 head, will fit the Z6 with modifications. Either head is good, both have their pros and cons. If you can get a Y8 head, then get that becuase its newer and generally will have less miles than a z6 head
