wagooneer questions

im unfamilar with the wagoneers and i was wondering if anyone knows what years and what models had te 6 cyl 258 and what models had the 304 V8 and what models had the 360 8cyl ive got an 88 jeep wrangler looking for a donor jeep with axles, engine, trans, and tcase if u kno anything about wagoneers and what engines to get and stay away from and how well they other paqrts are please let me kno i need to have some help from knowledgeable folk thank

360 is your best bet and the greatest advise I would give is to stay as far a way from the Quadratrac full-time trans as you can. other then that as long as the rig is in pretty good shape then any parts you pull should be prime. (with some maintance of course)
