I am ordering this exhaust here quickly, the HKS Hi-Power 85mm piping for 569.99. They want 75.00 for shipping? It couldnt be in a box bigger then 3ft.x1ft.x1ft. I mean its a multi-piece exhaust not one piece. It cant weigh more then 25lbs. Im doing a money Order instead of credit card so I dont know if they know im doing money order so they automatcially say hey we can get $50 more out of him?

Just found out the exhaust is 45lbs and its 55x26x12 so I guess 75 is ok...Ill be ordering it real soon!

hope u turbo soon, you car is gona be loud as hell.. but i love the hi-power exhaust 85mm is 3.27 piping i believe. that the exhaut i want no matter what car i get..

yea...im gonna make like 5-6 videos of it revving...slow rev then drive bys and in car... and launch. Actually the good side is the HKS Hi-Power is naturally quiet so the big piping wont matter as much as a louder exhaust. I dont plan on turbo for like a year...soooo...I ahve 5-Spd swap this summer with 5-Lug/Big Brake.

Will the 3.3" over the 2.5" really be that much louder?

so many post so fast..ok the 65mm exxhaust part number is 32003-KN002 and its for the 89-94 S13 US Spec and the 31006-KN005 is for the NISSAN Silvia PS13 1991-1993 SR20DET Turbo should that fit my system anyways? I have the KA?

i thought it was 80mm piping? or 85mm piping? And it will probably be alot louder, but should sound nice :) why arent you doing the auto-manual swap forst?

The NA one is 65mm and the 85mm one is for the turbo, they will both fit, but get the 85. And doesn't it come with a silencer?

It doesnt come with a silencer adn I wouldnt use it...it has a resonator in the piping thats why its quieter. but you think itll still sound nice and not annoying? Yea it comes in 85mm piping and 65mm...it depends on the car...like the RSX type S only comes in 60mm... They only have one left at enjuku and he said hell hold it for like2-3 days. I am doing the Auto-Manual before the Turbo. Turbo is next summer not this summer If my mom would have let me have a 5-Spd....she said she would have let me get the 92 Hatch(5-Spd) i wanted if i wasnt 5-Spd...but i Love my coupe!

my buddy has a 02 wrx with a hi-power exhaust. man, that coffee can on the end is HUGE! it looks nice though regardless. it is also louder than i think you realize
but if you turbo the turbo will quiet it down a lot. if you keep your cat in there it will help a little too.
if you dont have a turbo i think that exhaust will be hella loud even with the midpipe resonator.

Do you have the 85mm AWDSR20? Also is it on a non-turbo KA or SR20 as your proposes? Damnit I dont want it to be loud!!! might go with 65mm but I dont want to have to buy a new exhast when turboing. Are you guys saying loud period or loud like after 3500RPM? Or like Ricer loud?

its not loud, (hi power 120 mm) just DEEEEEP

i have it on SR with T28 and 3' all the way with front mount and intake (all HKS) sound nice.

awd does the t28 fit perfect w/ intercooler piping and all that or do things have to be altered?

u need the T28 flange for the T28 to he intake. The T25 flange will not fit... the T28 is a bit tilted compared to the t25. My hot pip is bent a bit toward the motor. But yeah, its a direct fit. (i also have steel breaded oil lines, makes the job easier)

The overall opinion on the exhaust system is that its good...but will be really deep/loud. At least ill be one more step to turbo ready when that time comes around

no offense monooxide, but i have to say this. I read how your mother wouldnt let you get the 5sp S13? That is kinda messed up. Have you talked to her about driving manual? will she let you? I would freak out if i found a sweet deal and my parents were like "no, its a manual!".

When i first started to read that i was like holy f hes gonna flame me. My first ever car to drive was my dads 1989 Chevy 350 Stepside 5-Spd and I took my drivers test in a 5-Spd Supra. When we went to find me a car she flat out told me no on a nice 5-Spd Hatch(92) I have tried to reason with her and my step-dad. My dad is behind me all the way because that is all that he will touch is a Std.(lol a STD) So if I wanted he would probably come down over a weekend and help me install it but since hes in Tenn. Ill just let him stay and ill live with the labor charges(my mom would kill me if i did it in our driveway). My mom will prob crap bricks when she sees my Exhaust or hears it. I had my hood popped while adjusting my sleepys(which i have on right now) She didnt even see my intake man i lucked out she would have ripped it out and stomped all over it. Then my step-dad saw it and told me "Man, that filter does sure look expensive!" I just laughed. So yea thats abotu it right there.

sweet... i don't meet a lot of people who took their driver's license test w/ standard. Most of my friends took it the 'easy-way' out. I didn't even see why it was so hard...
