I run the middle grade stuff. Every 4th tank, I dump in a bottle 108 octain booster and a bottle of fuel injector cleaners. But I'm on the crazy end of the spectrum. the friggin gas changes blends as often as a whore changes corners, so I try to compensate....... But then again, I am pushing 300~340miles per tank.

You want to run the lowest grade possiable without detonation. Not to mention, most daily driven cars are designed to run on low grade octane.

So just retard the spark and you can run 87 crap gas. :evillol:

it's a little under $3,000. And so anyway...is it okay to put 87 in my car now? Even though it has 93 in it now?

you shouldnt have a problem running 87, there is a possibility though, hiflow explained it in a different post, if i find the thread ill post it here. one thing you could do though is get your car tuned to run on 93... basically advancing the timing i think.

will i have heard some where on here if u run 91 for a long time then u get carbon the on the pistons and u will have to run 91 to prevent detentation bc ur engine is used to it? but ? am i losing power bc i run 87 oct and it knock like a mofo under heavy load. does it retard the timing? like knock sensor or something?
