MA subs

What do you think of MA subs? I got 2 MA100XL's on ebay for 75 each, if they are no good I could hopefully just sell them back for alot more.

ehhh there's a lot better out there but MA's aren't tooo awful bad. Port them at 35hz and theyll wang.

where can i get good ported boxes?

cause i know its not easy to make ported boxes

if you have any sense at all of woodworking (which most people do).. then just pay bumpin or ngsm 15 bucks for complete plans and help.. and theyll send them to you so all you have to do is cut and glue.. youll save money this way and also youll have a great quality box.. prefabs suck

Ma Stuff Can be pretty good, i have one of there amps powering 1 15inch mtx, and it hits harder than my buddies 2 mtx 12's in his truck.

Wow my 15 hits harder then my friends 2 12's that doesn't mean shit. I can get a 10 louder then both off hlaf the power. BTW Ma amps are good WHILE THEY LAST. They have a tendancy to just randomly blow up out of no where. And a lot of people have said this.

so do you think they are worth keeping or should i go with more reliable ones. or do you think i should go with just 1 sub of good quality, cause i want to put about 700 Wrms from an amp which i havent decided yet

well when i search froogle the cheapest they are is like 150 each so that will hopefully get me 300

keep in mind you bought them off ebay for 75$, your probably going to be selling them on ebay then... arent you?. many people wont buy a used item for what they can pay for a new one. y'know?

well they are new so if i dont use them then that should be fine, i just need an opinion before i go through the whole process of getting stuff for 1 or 2 subs

if you can sell them for 300 then do it and get an SX 15 from RE WOOT!!! If you can get 225ish sell them n get an SE15.

so the 1 15 will hit just as hard as the 2 10's? the sx 15 is hi quality right, it will last a long time with no problems?

LOL an SX15 will MURDER both of those 10's..... SE 15 will too..... and its VERY high quality and will last a very long time.

now to decide an amp. what do you think of the kole 3000d, ive read a bunch of forums and they said that it was pretty good, its just that i can get one for pretty cheap

No shit sumbass he knows. We never once said directed didn't make a pretty good amp...... He used to run Orion.... Directed makes good amps and orions are very good..... but face it.... directed is just a budget brand that is good that's it nothing great.

you can get one of the new hifonics 1200 watt amps for 250 shipped on ebay.. or i bet for 300 shit from an internet store if youre really against eaby.. but from what i hear theyre supposed to be a LITTLE better than the old hifonics amps (and not overrated liek before) and the old ones were solid amps for the money. good budget brand...

Yup, they're a little more ahrd to come by now...I've owned numerous Avionixx amps...most efficient amps i've ever owned.

ALSO, the reason I said "Viper" and "Dei" is because they are still around on ebay new for pretty cheap...they're starting to fade out though ;)
