Hey guys thanks in advance for any help or info. I have a 95 4.3L vin W
and my SES light came on the other day and my vehicle wasn't shifting quite like it should so i went to the local autoparts store and used the code reader. I got a P0756 code and also said shift solenoid B performance or stuck off. does a ground or anything every go bad on that solenoid and how involved of a process is it to change. Thanks for any info and input.

Usually the solenoid just goes bad. To acess the solenoid you need to drop the transmission pan. (Good time for a fluid and filter change) If you are lying on the ground on your back with your feet sticking out the front of the truck, you will see 2 solenoids towards the rear of the valve body. B is the one on the right. Replace both of them anyway.
